Punting in Cambridge during the Summer holidays
Looking for something different to do with the kids during the school summer holidays? Introducing our new activity booklets for kids, which are available when booking either a private or shared Cambridge punting tour. The booklets include Cambridge-themed activities to complete during your punting tour.
This summer, join us on the river for a private or shared chauffeured punt tour with the family covering two kilometres and lasting around 45 minutes. You can now add on our activity booklets for the kids (comes with colouring pencils), priced at just £5 per child, to your punting tour. The booklet has been designed to be completed on the river and includes a Cambridge-themed word search, quiz, colouring, and more. Our booklet has been designed for children both younger and older children so everyone can join in.
How do I book a punting tour with the activity booklets?
The kids activity booklets are available to purchase as an add-on once you have selected your punting tour, during booking. You will need to select the number of booklets you would like to purchase (we would recommend booking one booklet per child). You can also add on a picnic if you fancy going all out! On the day, prior to boarding the punting tour, show us your booking complete with the booklet add-on and we’ll hand over your booklets and coluring pencils. It is also possible to get the activity booklets with pencils without a pre-booked tour (subject to availability).
Summer holiday punting
It goes without saying that summer is our busiest time of year, so we would always suggest booking in advance to guarantee your preferred booking date and time and availability of booklets. You can get the best deal for shared punting tours starting before midday. If you are booking for 4-6 people, you will get a section with two rows of seats to yourselves. We offer our best rates for departures before midday and have a family ticket available on shared tours (valid for up to 6 people with a maximum of 2 adults). You are welcome to bring your own food and drink on the tour, you can even bring your dog along!
