Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any other queries, please get in touch!

Is my ticket just for x1 person?

No. The way that the ticket is displayed on the screen can sometimes be confusing, but the minimum passenger number is 2, so by default, we know that your ticket is not for just one person.

What is the refund policy for punting?

2 hours notice by telephone, but only if your booking has free cancellation.

Can I take my dog punting?

Yes.

Where does the punting start?

You check-in at the Landing stage.

Can I bring my own food punting?

Yes, you can.

Can I bring a drink?

Yes, but you can’t be drunk whilst punting.

Can I bring my baby punting?

Yes, the whole family can enjoy punting. Children must be accompanied by adults.

Does my baby count towards the passenger number?

If your baby is below 1 year old, then they don’t count. A second baby on the boat does count, so please drop us an email if it’s a shared tour, just in case another group also brings a baby.

Are babies free of charge?

Babies are free of charge below the age of two.

What age are children?

Children are classed as 1-12 years old. 13-year-old children should be counted as students.

Is punting alright for the elderly?

Punting is alright for all ages. We will assist those with mobility issues as best we can, although some may find it too difficult to sit at the floor level. Please read our access statement to find out more.

Where do I park?

There is lots of free and paid parking in Cambridge, please click the above link to our access statement for more info.

Where is the nearest bus stop?

The nearest bus stop is Bridge Street. Again, more information on public transport can be found in our access statement.

What time should I arrive?

For all tours with a specific time, please arrive at our check-in desk at that time. If you didn’t pre-book then I suggest doing that by clicking here.

How many people does a punt seat?

Each punt takes up to 12 passengers.

Are lifejackets available for children?

Although we have never had a child take a swim, lifejackets are available on request.
